Now in its fourth year, AnimeGO! returns in 2019 as part of the OzAsia Festival program to bring you Adelaide's very own Japan Pop Culture Festival!

About Us


AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival is an event organised by the Japan Australia Friendship Associstion (JAFA) in Adelaide, a non-profit volunteer-run organisation promoting friendship between Australia and Japan. JAFA also hosts the Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival in Adelaide.


AnimeGO! is made up a team of volunteers for who all have some form of passionate interest in Japan and creating fun and exciting events.

Our diverse team consists of many  students and industry professionals. As an community we aim to give opportunities to young people to expand their skills and networks.
