AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival

Get Involved

Be part of the community!

AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival has been held annually in Adelaide, South Australia since 2016. The event is organised by the Japan Australia Friendship Association (JAFA), a volunteer-run, non-profit organisation that aims to share Japanese culture with the wider Australian audience.
JAFA is a community organisation which regularly donates proceeds from such events to various charities and disaster relief programs.

Since 2018, our event has been part of the OzAsia Festival, Australia’s leading contemporary arts festival engaging with Asia.

AnimeGO! calls for artists, creators, performers, presenters, food vendors, and volunteers every October to help make a fun local Adelaide event happen. See below for different ways you could be involved.

Performer and Talks

Showcase Yourself!

Are you a singer, musician or dancer?

The festival plays host to a variety of performances and entertainment throughout the day.

Stallholder

If you’re a food stall, local artist stall, craft stall or just have secondhand goods with a Japanese pop culture twist, we’d love to hear from you!

Volunteer

Join the team!

The festival is made possible through the help of volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to learn some new skills, gain experience and make friends.
